Maluma Bumps Despacito From No. 1 on Latin Rhythm Airplay After 20-Week Reign

Maluma notches his fifth No. 1 on Billboard’s Latin Rhythm Airplay chart (dated July 29), as “Felices Los 4” rises 2-1 in its 12th week on the chart with 16.92 million audience impressions earned (up 3 percent) in the week ending July 13, according to Nielsen Music.

“Felices Los 4” bumps Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee’s “Despacito,” featuring Justin Bieber, from No. 1 to No. 2 in its 27th week on the list. It falls to the runner-up slot with a 15 percent decline in audience for the week (for a total of 15.54 million impressions). "Despacito" led the tally for 20 nonconsecutive weeks, beginning on the March 4-dated chart.

"Felices Los 4" concurrently jumps 2-1 on the Latin Rhythm Digital Song Saleschart with 11,000 copies sold (up 109 percent), earning Maluma his second No. 1 on the chart.

Jennifer Lopez Hits the Top 20 on Hot Latin Songs: Over on the Hot Latin Songs chart, Jennifer Lopez's "Ni Tu Ni Yo," featuring Gente de Zona, vaults from No. 32 to No. 15 in its second chart week, earning the singer her 10th top 20 hit. The single's jump is largely due to streams of the track's music video, which has launched to 13 million global views on YouTube since its July 11 release.

Shakira's Back at No. 1 on Top Latin Albums: Meanwhile, Shakira’s El Dorado returns the No. 1 on the Top Latin Albums chart with 6,000 equivalent album units earned in the week ending July 13, according to Nielsen Music, giving the set a fourth total week atop the chart. As previously reportedEl Dorado is the singer’s sixth No. 1 on the chart, and scored the biggest sales week for a Latin album in more than two years.

The album also returns to No. 1 on the Latin Pop Albums and Latin Album Salescharts.

'Celebracion' Leads Tropical Album Sales: Finally, Charlie Zaa’s Celebracion moves 3-1 on the Latin Tropical Album Sales chart with 1,000 copies sold in its seventh week on the chart, according to Nielsen Music.

The greatest hits album was released to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Zaa's debut album, Sentimientos. The latter set spent 15 weeks at No. 1 on the Top Latin Albums chart in 1997 and 1998. Celebracion earns Zaa his fifth No. 1 on the Latin Tropical Album Sales chart and concurrently jumps to No. 2 on the Latin Album Sales chart and to No. 5 on the overall Tropical Albums chart.
