Twenty-four-year-old singer Anitta has signed with Shots Studios for management, joining digital curators Lele Pons, Rudy Mancuso and Loren Gray at the digital management and production company.
Shots plans to develop the blossoming Brazilian star in the Latin and American markets, utilizing their extensive data-driven knowledge to catalyze the process.
Anitta already boasts superstar numbers, with more than 21 million Instagram followers, 13 million Facebook fans and 200 million streams on Spotify. She also landed on her first Billboard chart last month with "Paradinha," which hit No. 12 on Billboard + Twitter Top Tracks.
Shots Studios CEO John Shahidi tells Billboard: "Anitta is one of the most talented people I have met. She speaks fluent Portuguese, Spanish, and English so we’re very excited to be working with her to break her into new markets. More importantly, she’s an incredible person and I am happy to call her a friend."
Anitta adds: "I’m really excited to be joining Shots. John, Sam and the entire team have welcomed me into their family. I can’t wait for everyone to see what we’re working on."
She is currently working on her debut English-language album, which will feature collaborations with Marshmello, Alesso and Poo Bear.
