A Minneapolis lawyer lost his job after local newspaper City Pages revealed his side gig: Running a neo-Nazi record label.
The paper published a lengthy investigation on Aaron Wayne Davis, then a partner at Patterson Thuente, on Aug 16. The cover story described Davis' involvement in Behold Barbarity, a fringe metal label a history of supporting racist and anti-Semitic bands whose catalog includes song titles like "Kill the Jews" and the album Behead the Semite.
As of Monday, the paper reports that Davis has been placed on "administrative leave" and his biography has been removed from the Patterson Thuente website.
"Aaron Davis is no longer employed by Patterson Thuente Pedersen, P.A.," the law firm told City Pages in a statement. "Prior to the story, no one in the firm had any inclination regarding the allegations in the article."
