T-Pain Announces Acoustic Tour

T-Pain has gifted the world a slew of classic anthems over the years, embellished with his signature Auto-Tuned vocals from "Buy U A Drank (Shawty Snappin)" and "Bartender" to "Can't Believe It" but when he stripped away his trademark sound and performed for NPR's Tiny Desk concert series in 2014 with just an acoustic guitar, the performance left the world dumbfounded and T-Pain inspired.

Now, nearly three years since the viral performance, T-Pain has announced plans to hit the road for a six-city acoustic tour inspired by his Tiny Desk concert and will bring along rappers Smino and Felly as supporting acts.

T-Pain recently told NPR that his Tiny Desk performance "was a huge accomplishment for me" -- it accumulated over 10 million views so far -- and opened up new opportunities for the singer as well as a new audience.

"The love and respect I've received from my NPR performance has not only shown a different side of me to fans, but it also has introduced me to a whole different set of fans," he continued. "All I see on social media is how all my fans want to see this in person, live, with their own eyes."

Fans will soon be able to witness an Auto-Tune-less T-Pain during his upcoming acoustic tour that will begin October in San Francisco with stops in New York, Chicago, Boston and more.
