Logics 1-800-273-8255 Breaks Into Top 10 on Streaming Songs Chart

Logic lands his first top 10 on Billboard's Streaming Songs chart (dated Sept. 23) as a lead artist, as "1-800-273-8255," featuring Alessia Cara and Khalid, shoots 12-5 with a 53 percent surge to 30.6 million U.S. streams in the week ending Sept. 7, according to Nielsen Music.

Previously, the rapper cracked the chart's top 10 as a featured artist on the stacked Suicide Squad soundtrack cut "Sucker for Pain"; Lil WayneWiz KhalifaImagine DragonsTy Dolla $ign and X Ambassadors also boast billings.

"1-800" is also both Cara and Khalid's first top 10 on the chart in any billed capacity, besting the twin No. 11 peaks of Cara's "Here" and Khalid's "Location."

Streams of "1-800" vault due in part from footage of its MTV Video Music Awards performance by the trio (Aug. 27) being uploaded to Logic's official YouTube channel on Sept. 1. That said, its streaming numbers are on the rise across multiple services; the track also jumps 8-3 on the audio-subscription services-based On-Demand Streaming Songs chart (which does not include YouTube clicks).

On the Billboard Hot 100, Logic notches his first top five hit, as "1-800" song bounds 9-5. It also becomes his first top 20 hit on the Pop Songs airplay chart (22-18).

Notably, the song's latest advances coincide with National Suicide Prevention Week (Sept. 10-16); the song's title is the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline.

Among other streaming moves, Gucci Mane is another first-time entrant in the Streaming Songs top 10 as a lead artist, as "I Get the Bag," featuring Migos, jumps 20-10 (21.4 million, up 30 percent). Previously, the rapper led the chart for seven weeks as a featured artist on Rae Sremmurd's "Black Beatles." As a lead, he'd peaked at a No. 29 high with "Both," featuring Drake.

Tay-K's "The Race" reaches a new peak on Streaming Songs (33-18; 16.6, up 36 percent). Although the majority of its overall streams (62 percent) are from YouTube clicks, the cut gains 31 percent in on-demand audio streams, enough for it to re-enter On-Demand Streaming Songs at a new peak of No. 45. Comparatively, its first week on Streaming Songs (Aug. 26) showed 76 percent of its clicks from YouTube. "The Race" concurrently makes a 20-position jump on the Hot 100 to a new peak of No. 44.

Dua Lipa debuts on Streaming Songs at No. 49 with "New Rules" (11 million, up 17 percent), the latest single from her eponymous debut full-length, which hits a new high (No. 77) on the Billboard 200. "Rules" is her second song on the chart, after "Blow Your Mind (Mwah)" reached No. 45 nearly a year ago.

Her latest, which rises 38-33 on Pop Songs and 67-62 on the Hot 100, has become a worldwide hit since its July release, including attaining the No. 1 spot on the Official UK Singles chart. Dua Lipa also lands her first week at No. 1 on Billboard's Emerging Artists chart.
