Hitmaking producer and songwriter Benny Blanco, who has worked with Katy Perry, Ed Sheeran and others, has extended his partnership with Interscope Geffen A&M. The deal means Blanco's duo of imprints, Mad Love Records and Friends Keep Secrets, both launched in 2014, will stay under the IGA umbrella well into the next decade.
Mad Love is home to Tory Lanez, Cashmere Cat, Trill Sammy, while Friends Keep Secrets boasts Jessie Ware and his own project BenZel with twoinchpunch.
As a songwriter, producer and musician, Blanco has had a hand in dozens of major hits, including Sheeran's "Castle on the Hill," Justin Bieber's "Love Yourself," Maroon 5's "Moves Like Jagger," Perry's "Teenage Dream," Rihanna's "Diamonds," Kesha's "Tik Tok" and Gym Class Heroes' "Stereo Hearts," among others. He has received 5 BMI Songwriter of the Year awards and is the recipient of the Hal David Starlight Award from the Songwriters Hall of Fame.
