Insomniac Founder Pasquale Rotella Heartbroken Over Las Vegas Shooting, Urges Fans to Make Donations to Victims

Insomniac and its founder, Pasquale Rotella, are helping spread the word about a GoFundMe page that aims to raise $2 million for the victims and families of those affected by the Las Vegas shooting Sunday, Oct. 1. Nearly 60 have died and more than 500 have been injured in what's being called the deadliest mass shooting in United States history.

Insomniac and Rotella have made Las Vegas their second home since moving their flagship event, Electric Daisy Carnival, to the city in 2011.

"The entire Insomniac family is heartbroken by the news coming out of Las Vegas, a beautiful city that’s opened itself up to us and so many people from around the world," he wrote on Instagram. "Our hearts and healing energy are with the victims and their families, the first responders and emergency personnel, and the entire state of Nevada."

More than $1.6 million has been raised as of press time.

Rotella also shared a list of blood donation centers in the state of Nevada. Read his full post below.
