J Balvin Brings Out Steve Aoki for Energia Tour Finale in Miami

J Balvin really knew how to surprise all his fans during his Energia U.S. tour finale at Miami’s American Airlines arena Friday night (Oct. 13).

This marked the "Mi Gente" singer’s first-ever solo concert at the arena, which was well balanced with the selection of songs, good dancers (only four males) and a simple stage with fluorescent images in the background that simulated a huge party atmosphere.

"I remember that I used to come to Miami to perform at nightclubs -- who could imagine that I was going to be standing here in front of all of you?” Balvin told the crowd.

The singer’s special guests were a key part of the show: BIA joined him to perform “Safari;” French Montana appeared for “Unforgettable;” Zion & Lennox heated up the arena with for "Otra Vez;” and Bad Bunny. The latter participated in a Latin trap remix that included "La Ocasion,” "Soy Peor,” and "Si Tu Novio Te Deja Sola.” For the big finale, Steve Aoki appeared for “Mi Gente,” Balvin's first Hot 100 top 10 hit.

The Energia tour kicked off at Eagle Bank Arena in Virginia on Sep. 14 and took Balvin around 14 cities across the country until his last stop in Miami. The concert series were supported by Buchanan’s Whisky, who partnered with J Balvin to honor the Hispanic Heritage month with this tour.
