Comedian Sebastian Maniscalco to Launch Stay Hungry Tour in 2018

Comedian Sebastian Maniscalco is hitting the road in early 2018 for a 15-city North American tour, capitalizing on the success of his top rated SiriusXM "The Pete & Sebastian Show" and new book "Stay Hungry" in which he explains "even though I’ve achieved some success, I will always stay hungry for more.”

The Stay Hungry Tour kicks off at the Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier in Montreal (Jan. 5) and includes stops at the new MGM National Harbor theater in Washington, D.C. (Feb. 10), the Terrace Theater in Long Beach, California (Feb 18) and two nights at Boston's Wilbur Theatre (March 23-24) before wrapping at Radio City Music Hall in New York on April 21.

Maniscalco had a breakout year in 2017 with the success of his "Why Would You Do That?" tour based on his popular 2016 Showtime special. His daughter Serafina Simone was born in April and after a few months off with family, Maniscalco returned to the road with seven performances at the Borgata in Atlantic City, breaking the record for most consecutive comedy appearances. He also launched his radio show on SiriusXM Raw Dog Comedy channel 99 with fellow comedian Pete Correale.

Maniscalco's 2018 tour is based on his upcoming "Stay Hungry" book which hits shelves next year from publisher Simon & Schuster.

“The Stay Hungry tour marks the release of my book while I also venture into this new chapter of my life: being a dad. Lately, I’ve found myself reflecting on my path and all of the hard work it has taken to get to this point in my career. I hope to one day to pass these values on to my daughter and encourage her to stay hungry for more,” shares Maniscalco in a press release.

Maniscalco is also expanding his film and TV work, serving as the voice-over for character Johnny the Groundhog in the animated feature “Nut Job 2,” which is out in theaters now, as well as an appearance in the 2017 Will Ferrell comedy “The House.” In 2018, he will appear in the film "TAG" alongside Ed Helms and Jeremy Renner.

Tickets go on sale for Sebastian Maniscalco’s Stay Hungry 2018 tour to the general public on Friday, Oct. 20 on sebastianlive.com.
