Ultra Worldwide Wraps Record Year, Hosting 1 Million Partygoers Across 20 Countries

Ultra Music Festival has come a long way since that initial beachside party in Miami. The brand has gone fully international, and 2017 was its widest reach so far.

Between late February and now, UMF reports welcoming more than 1 million partygoers to 45 events across 20 countries. With this, it nearly doubled its activity list, adding 23 new events to the roster, including parties in India and a first-time international Resistance stage tour that hit locations in Asia, Europe and South America.

And even if you didn't make it to an Ultra event proper, you may have been a part of its groundbreaking streams. More than 125 million people clicked to tune in online, logging about 3 million hours of total watch time.

More than 1,000 artists played Ultra bills around the world, and more than 10,000 helped staff the shows, according to the organizers. The full list of wild UMF stats are below. Check them out, and get ready for next year.
