Fox has amped up their re-entry into the world of singing competitions with a new partner. Joining the network’s new talent search on The Four: Battle for Stardomis iHeartMedia.
Fox, which was already home to music-heavy series Glee, Empire, and Star, announced its move forward from the iconic early American Idol days with new series, The Four: Battle for Stardom.
The show uses Israeli series The Final Four for its format, skipping past the weeks of talent searching straight to the incredible finalists. Music experts and personalities -- who have yet to be named -- will serve on a panel and choose the finalists, as well as help build the winner’s future career.
The new collaboration between brands will offer immense multi-platform scale and reach, with the power of FOX’s broadcast network and iHeartMedia’s vast reach, with more than 850 live radio stations, iHeartRadio’s digital podcasting and streaming platforms, as well as more than 122 million social followers.
iHeartMedia will offer a new level of exposure for competitors as well. The Grand Prize winner of The Four: Battle for Stardom will be named an iHeartMedia “On the Verge” artist, benefiting from the coveted artist development program and airplay on iHeartMedia radio stations across the nation.
Further details regarding the new series will be announced soon. Learn a bit more about the show while it’s in development here.
