Halseys Bad at Love Debuts on Streaming Songs Chart

Halsey slots her second track as a lead artist onto Billboard’s Streaming Songschart (dated Oct. 28) with “Bad at Love,” which bows at No. 47 with 11.8 million streams earned in the week ending Oct. 12, a 15 percent boost, according to Nielsen Music.

The debut comes as the track continues to make headway on U.S. radio, as the track rises 17-16 on the Pop Songs airplay chart, and debuts at No. 49 on the all-format Radio Songs chart. Further, "Bad at Love's" Streaming Songs chart arrival follows the release of a remixes EP for the song, with new takes on the single provided by Dillon FrancisAutograf and more. That also helps the song leap 49-40 for a new peak on the Billboard Hot 100.

Halsey’s previous single, “Now or Never,” peaked at No. 30 on Streaming Songs (June 24) and she led the chart for 12 weeks as the featured act on The Chainsmokers’ “Closer” last year.

Meanwhile, Post Malone’s surprise viral hit “I Fall Apart” continues to find a new life on streaming services, climbing 18-11 on Streaming Songs (20 million streams; up 26 percent) while reaching a new peak of No. 3 on the On-Demand Streaming Songs chart, which pulls in only on-demand audio streams in the U.S. (a chart Malone leads for a fifth week with “Rockstar,” featuring 21 Savage).

As a result of the breakout streaming success, I Fall Apart” will be serviced to rhythmic radio, impacting Oct. 17.

The Streaming Songs chart’s greatest gainer is Lil Pump, whose “Gucci Gang” jumps 16-9 with 20.8 million streams, up 28 percent. The song’s gain is twofold: in addition to continually increasing fanfare as the song gains in radio and sales metrics as well, it also leaps due to the release of Lil Pump’s new self-titled mixtape, released Oct. 13, which concurrently debuts at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 (46,000 units).

“Gucci” is the rapper’s first top 10 on Streaming Songs and also becomes his first top 40 hit on the Billboard Hot 100, moving 46-32.
