Regional Mexican band La Séptima Banda is set to perform at the 2017 SESAC Latina Music Awards, which will take place June 7 at the Beverly Hills Hotel.
La Séptima is the first artist confirmed to take the stage at the annual awards ceremony that celebrates songwriters and publishers' successes throughout 2016. More performers will be announced in the upcoming weeks.
As in previous editions, the 2017 SESAC Latina Music Awards will award song of the year, publisher of the year, producer of the year and songwriter of the year.
Last year's SESAC Latina Awards top winners included Nicky Jam, who took the song of the year top honor; Luciano Luna, who was awarded with songwriter of the year for the third consecutive year; and chart-topping group Intocable received the Icon Award.
