Three years after the release of her debut album The New Classic, Iggy Azalea is back with new music. Her latest single “Mo Bounce” reached No. 1 on the real-time Billboard + Twitter Trending 140 chart on Thursday (March 23), shortly after its release.
The Billboard + Twitter Trending 140 chart measures the real-time acceleration of conversation around artists and their music on Twitter.
The Australian hip-hop artist released the track on Apple Music’s Beats 1 radio at around 11 a.m. ET before releasing the song on Spotify and other streaming services. The song reached the top of the chart around noon.
The song is slated to appear on her forthcoming sophomore studio album Digital Distortion, due out this summer.
