The song reached No. 1 on the Trending 140 shortly after Drake's performance inside the famed Bellagio Fountains in Las Vegas around 10 p.m. ET. The track, which debuted and peaked at No. 29 on the Hot 100 chart dated April 8 and is from Drake's Billboard 200 chart-topping album More Life, previously hit the Trending 140 after More Life's release on March 19, along with 18 other songs from the Toronto MC's album.
The coronation of "Gyalchester" accompanied Drake's record-breaking night at the BBMAs: He took home 13 awards, rewriting the record for the most Billboard Music Awards won in a single year, besting Adele's prior record of 12.
