Latino Mix Radio Station in San Antonio

"Latino Mix," a radio station playing a “blend of today’s Top 40 and Latin Rhythmic hits” has debuted in San Antonio.

Univision flipped its KMYO 95.1 -- which since 2014 had been known as Yo! 95.1, an old school hip-hop station -- to an English-language station “specifically designed for Latino San Antonians.” The station changed over to the new format and name on April 19.

The station will feature both English and Spanish-language music, ranging from hits by Ed Sheeran and Bruno Mars, to the latest from Latin stars J Balvin, Nicky Jam, Enrique Iglesias and Daddy Yankee.

“Latino Mix 95.1 FM looks to draw a bridge between the many cultures, generations and musical styles that are characteristic of San Antonio,” Chris Morris, vice president and general manager, Univision San Antonio said in a Univision announcement. “Blending English and Spanish organically and merging musical favorites is a reflection of what makes San Antonio so unique.”
