Digital Underground rapper Gregory "Shock G" Jacobs was arrested in Rice Lake, Wisconsin, last week on suspicion of drug paraphernalia possession.
Local station WEAU reports Jacobs was taken to the Barron County Jail on June 13, where he was held for a little more than two hours before posting $100 cash bail.
Jacobs lives in San Francisco but was in Wisconsin on tour after performing with Naughty by Nature at the nearby Aquafest event nearby.
According to WEAU, an officer pulled over a vehicle around 2 a.m. because the license plate was listed to an unlicensed driver. Jacobs was driving with the car's owner as a passenger. Police said drug paraphernalia was inside the vehicle but did not state exactly what was found.
Billboard has reached out to Shock G and Rice Lake Police for comment but did not hear back at time of publishing.
