Three months after releasing his Billboard 200-topping fourth full-length album More Life, Drake is back with new music. His latest non-album track, "Signs," surged to the top of the Billboard + Twitter Trending 140 chart Thursday morning (June 22) shortly after its release.
The Billboard + Twitter Trending 140 chart measures the real-time acceleration of conversation around artists and their music on Twitter.
The song was featured in Louis Vuitton's SS18 men's fashion show at Paris Fashion Week today and appears in the background of a video of the festivities posted to YouTube (the song begins around the 3:40 mark).
"Signs" first appeared on the Trending 140 chart around 10 a.m. ET Thursday morning and topped the list soon after. Drake hasn't yet released the song's official audio.
Drake is no stranger to the Trending 140 chart. After More Life's release (on March 19), 19 of the album's 22 tracks hit the Trending 140 and infused the entire top 10. More recently, his song "Gyalchester" hit No. 1 after his performance at the Billboard Music Awards on May 21.
