Tyler, The Creator storms to his first No. 1 on the Billboard + Twitter Top Tracks chart (dated July 15) with his first solo single in two years, "Who Dat Boy."
Billboard + Twitter Top Tracks is a weekly ranking of the most shared and/or mentioned songs on Twitter in the U.S., ranked by the volume of shares over a seven-day period (Monday to Sunday).
The Odd Future MC released the song June 29 alongside its music video, which he directed and in which he stars. The clip, which features him and A$AP Rocky as mad scientists, has blasted to 6 million global views on YouTube since its release.
"Who Dat Boy" is Tyler, The Creator’s third appearance on the Top Tracks chart.
Meanwhile, Kendrick Lamar tallies his 14th top five on the Billboard + Twitter Top Tracks chart, as "Element." debuts at No. 5. The song is the third from his Billboard 200-topping album DAMN. to reach the top five, following "Humble.," which spent a week at No. 1 in April, and "DNA.," which reached No. 4 in May.
"Element." debuts on the strength of the release of its official video June 27. The clip has surged to 15 million global views on YouTube since its posting.
Lamar places fifth among acts with the most top five hits in the Top Tracks chart's three-year history, trailing only Ariana Grande (17), Justin Bieber, Drake and One Direction (each with 16).
Speaking of Grande, her older brother, Frankie Grande, debuts on the Billboard + Twitter Top Tracks chart with his first charting single, "Queen," at No. 35. The TV personality and Broadway actor released the song and an accompanying music video May 18.
