Portugal. The Mans Feel It Still Leads Top TV Commercials Chart for June

Portugal. The Man’s hit “Feel It Still” debuts at No. 1 on Billboard & Clio’s Top TV Commercials chart, powered by Shazam, for June, after the song's appearance in Apple iPad Pro’s “On Any Given Wednesday” commercial.

Using tagging data from Shazam, as well as sales and streaming information tracked by Nielsen Music, Billboard partners with Clio Music each month to present a chart ranking the top songs in commercials. Rankings exclude any song that has recently charted within the top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100 or top 10 on a genre chart.

“Feel It Still,” which is the first rock song to hit No. 1 on the chart since Imagine Dragons’ “Believer” in March, leads all songs with 29,000 Shazam tags, 52,000 downloads sold and 14 million U.S. streams during the month of June, according to Nielsen Music.

The single has also been a major hit on Billboard’s rock charts, earning an eleventh week at No. 1 on the Adult Alternative Songs airplay chart and a third week at No. 1 on the Alternative Songs chart (dated July 22), while also holding at No. 4 on the Hot Rock Songs chart and reaching No. 81 on the Hot 100.

Just behind Portugal. The Man on the Top TV Commercials chart, Imagine Dragons’ “Thunder” debuts at No. 2, after being featured in Jeep’s “One Drive” ad.

Much like “Feel It Still” and Dragons’ previous single, “Believer,” “Thunder” has been making waves on Billboard’s charts. The single earns its second week at No. 2 on Hot Rock Songs (behind “Believer”) and has reached No. 54 on the Hot 100.

The song’s commercial appearance garnered 10,000 Shazam tags, 64,000 downloads sold and 31 million U.S. streams in June, according to Nielsen Music.

Finally, The Notorious B.I.G.’s former No. 1 Hot 100 hit, “Hypnotize,” debuts at No. 6 on the Top TV Commercials chart after its appearance in Oreo’s aptly-named “Hypnotize” ad.

The song, which spent three weeks atop both the Hot 100 and Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs charts in 1997, earns its debut with 6,000 Shazam tags, 21,000 downloads sold and 9 million U.S. streams in June.
