Kacey Musgraves Performs on Today Show, Adds New Tour Dates

Kacey Musgraves is in high demand. The country singer has once again extended her headlining trek with five new dates to her Oh, What a World: Tour II.

Musgraves announced the new dates Friday morning (July 19), during a performance on NBC’s TODAY where she performed “Slow Burn,” “Lonely Weekend,” “Happy and Sad” and “Oh, What a World,” all featured on her 2018 Grammy Award-winning album Golden Hour, as part of the Citi Concert Series. Her set was held in front of an attentive crowd at New York City’s Rockefeller Plaza.

The singer will perform at Dallas’ The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory on Oct. 10 and 11, New York City’s Radio City Music Hall on Oct. 15 and 16, and Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena with special guest Maggie Rogers on October 25. Tickets to the five new dates go on sale July 26 at 10 a.m. local time.

Pop newcomer Rogers revealed her excitement to join Musgraves in Music City. "It is an absolute honor to announce that I'll be joining @spaceykacey at the @bridgestonearenaofficial in Nashville," she wrote on Instagram.

The singer previously hinted that an Oh, What a World live album is currently in the works last month. When one fan requested an Oh, What a World Tour live album via Twitter, Musgraves said a project is already underway. “Working on it,” she responded. The live project will follow her Grammy-winning album of the year, 2018's Golden Hour.
