As National Suicide Prevention Month draws to a close, The Trevor Project is sharing ways to continue supporting LGBTQ youth who are struggling with mental health or could be contemplating suicide.
The organization teamed up with stars Ben Platt and Cynthia Erivo for an informational new campaign designed to promote the acronym CARE - Connect, Ask, Respond, Empower - a tool anyone can use to respond to possible warning signs for suicide.
In the one-minute clip uploaded on Tuesday (Sept. 29), the duo discuss the simple steps to CARE for someone in need--noting that even something as small as reaching out to someone can make a huge impact.
