Romance is in the air in Ed Sheeran's new music video for "Put It All on Me," featuring Ella Mai.
The singer-songwriter and his own wife, Cherry Seaborn, are among the sweet couples starring in the Jason Koenig-directed visual that highlights the relationships of real-life couples, young and old.
"Back in high school, Ed & Cherry were crushing hard," a caption reads during Sheeran's scene, showing the pair fooling around in the kitchen. "They made out at the castle on the hill. A few years ago they reconnected, there were fireworks. They married in January 2019."
Mai's romance is yet to be seen, but she's shown in the clip heading out on a date after swiping right on a potential love interest.
Koenig offered some details on Instagram about the making of the video, which had the crew "shooting 17 shoots, in 18 days, finding real couples dancing all over the world, with cameras in our backpacks. I know we didn’t get to every culture but we tried for as many as we could. The people we met were so inspiring. Love is real. Dancing is the best. Hoping to put a little joy into the world this holiday."
Watch the love stories unfold in Sheeran's "Put It All on Me" video -- which he says is "the final video" we'll see from his No. 6 Collaborations Project album -- below.
