Between the red, pink and blue lights casting a kaleidoscopic design on the stage and her syrupy vocals crooning, "No, I don't wanna fall in love with you" in the chorus, Clarkson captivated her viewers and kept their eyes (and ears) glued to her at all times.
"Wicked Game" was released as a single on Isaak's third studio album Heart Shaped World in 1989. It turned into a hit, peaking at No. 6 on Billboard Hot 100 and hitting No. 1 on Billboard's Rock Digital Song Sales chart, after it was featured in the 1990 David Lynch film Wild at Heart.
Clarkson isn't the first American Idol winner to cover the classic, either. Season 7 winner David Cook released his version of "Wicked Game" on his fourth album Digital Vein in 2015.
