Mexican crooner Luis Miguel celebrates 51 years around the sun today (April 19), and we're commemorating the big day by highlighting some of his Billboard chart feats.
The famed Latin pop singer known as "El Sol de México (The Mexican Sun)," who has been performing since he was 12 years old and is known for achingly beautiful songs like "La Incondicional" and "Fría Como el Viento," boasts 1.2 billion career on-demand streams, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data.
He also takes the runner-up slot with 11 No. 1s on the Latin Pop Albums chart, trailing only Marco Antonio Solis, who leads with 12. Miguel's 1991 album Romance has spent a total of 164 weeks in the top 10 on the Latin Pop Albums chart, the fifth-longest ranking in the top 10.
