Live Nation Entertainment announced the hire of Patricia Flores as VP of Marketing for its newly formed Live Nation Latin group. Flores joins Live Nation with 15 years of experience in Latin music, including many years on the live sector of the industry at Goldenvoice and AEG Concerts.
Flores most recently served as head of Latin Marketing at AEG Concerts and Goldenvoice, overseeing all national marketing strategies and campaigns for major Latin acts such as Mana, Juanes, Romeo Santos, Wisin & Yandel, Enrique Iglesias with Pitbull, Prince Royce, Calle 13, and Los Fabulosos Cadillacs.
“Patty has a unique way of tapping into the hearts and minds of Latin music fans to help connect them with artists from across the globe,” said Hans Schafer, SVP of Live Nation Latin, in a statement. “We've worked together in the past, and I’ve seen her creative marketing strategies elevate countless projects, so I’m very we excited to have her as a key member of the Live Nation Latin team.”
Talent executive and event producer Patrick Menton has been named vp talent and production at dick clark productions.
In his new role, Menton will further develop relationships with talent management and record labels for the company’s roster of shows, including the Billboard Music Awards, American Music Awards and Academy of Country Music Awards, among others. Menton will also oversee talent logistics, working with head of talent, Mark Shimmel.
“Patrick brings more than 15 years of expertise in music, television and events, which makes him the perfect candidate for this role,” said Amy Thurlow, dick clark production's COO and CFO, in a statement. “As the entertainment business continues to evolve, his perspective and innovative ideas align perfectly with the growth of DCP. Partisan Records announced the appointment of Bryant Kitching as its new publicity director.
Kitching joins the company from a senior account executive position at PR firm Shore Fire Media and has previously overseen press campaigns for Bon Iver, Margo Price, Real Estate, Local Natives, First Aid Kit and King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard, among others.

AEG Facilities has appointed Richard Krezwick, a long-time AEG executive and respected industry veteran, as senior vice President. AEG has also opened a New York office to support the company’s rapidly growing venue management and services business.
In his role, Krezwick, who will relocate from AEG’s London office where he oversaw European arena and stadium operations, will head AEG Facilities’ Manhattan office and oversee East Coast operations, business development, marketing and content development for AEG Facilities’ venues within the region while continuing his oversight of AEG Facilities European venues. Krezwick, a leading executive in sports, entertainment and facility management, originally joined AEG in 2006 and spent three years with the company before leaving, then returning in May of 2014.
“I am thrilled and extremely thankful to be returning to the U.S. with AEG after four amazing years with AEG Europe,” he said in a statement. “The unique aspects of each facility and each market was magnified during my international experience, something I know will help me while working with our co-workers and valued partners.

AVIE co-founder and former MD at Virgin Classics, Simon Foster, announced his retirement after spending four decades in the classical music industry.
Following early success at EMI Classics, Foster was headhunted by Richard Branson to be the founding managing director of Virgin Classics, before going on to lead BMG Classics UK. In 1992, he co-founded AVIE Records. Simon’s career is framed by two acclaimed recordings of Edward Elgar's Violin Concerto. In 1984, both the BPI and Gramophone magazine awarded Record of the Year to Nigel Kennedy, who Foster signed.
“It’s been an amazing journey: from working the till at Manchester’s Rare Records in the 1970s; becoming an EMI salesman; and moving to London to market Classics for Pleasure,” Foster said in a statement. “I then went on to run EMI Classics UK where I had the good fortune to sign Nigel Kennedy, work with Aled Jones on what has become the holiday evergreen 'Walking in the Air,' make the premiere recording of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Requiem, and meet Frank Zappa.”
