TuneCore Acquires Social Media Management Startup JustGo, Rebrands as TuneCore Social

TuneCore, one of the top distributors of indie do-it-yourself music, has acquired JustGo, which helps artists to manage their social media placement by providing a dashboard that allows them to post to multiple sites simultaneously. JustGo will be rebranded as TuneCore Social.

TuneCore Social integrates with all major social networks including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, SoundCloud, YouTube and Mixcloud, according to the announcement. As a result, TuneCore distributed artists can update their Facebook pages and Twitter from TuneCore Social, and other with one post. Likewise, artists can upload music to MixCloud and SoundCloud.

“We talk to our customers every day so we can learn exactly what they want and need to be successful as independent artists,” TuneCore CEO Scott Ackerman said in a statement. “We know that social media is integral in helping our artists reach a wider audience, so acquiring JustGo was a natural fit. Offering this all-in-one management platform is a testament to our commitment to supporting our artists and helping them thrive in this ever-changing industry.”

As part of the acquisition JustGo’s founder and CEO Justin Golshiri will be joining TuneCore, where he will help expand the company’s artist services products.
