YOU GUYS GOT IT CONGRATULATIONS. I told you your brains are smart. here’s the whole thing.
It's been almost three years since the release of Alessia Cara's debut album, Know-It-All, and the Grammy winner is finally back with some new solo music.
After dropping hints on Instagram for the upcoming era of Cara tunes, the songstress revealed on Monday (June 11) that her new single, "Growing Pains," will be out June 15.
The photo shows Cara dressed in an oversized business suit, hair messy, head tilted back and eyes closed--a tribute to the struggles of getting older, a topic she has touched upon in her first album on songs like "Seventeen" and her smash hit, "Scars to Your Beautiful."
The self-penned "Growing Pains" marks Cara's highly-anticipated follow up to “1-800-273-8255,” her multi-platinum collab with fellow Def Jam artist, Logic.
Just a day earlier, the pop star played a game with her die-hard fans, sending 25 of them lines from the song and encouraging them to work together to put the puzzle pieces together. Some of the clever lyrics included "Starting to look like Ms. Know-it-all/Can't take her own advice" and "No bandaids for the growing pains." See the full lyrics below.
