Fans of Miami HEAT and NBA Legend Dwyane Wade may have to stay up late to catch him play next season as he is reportedly going to be the recipient of a “monster” contract offer from the Chinese Basketball Association.
D. Wade is currently an unrestricted free agent in the NBA and many fans and basketball insiders believed for Flash the options were either to retire or go back to the Miami Heat. Wade has often stated he wished to finish his NBA career in South Beach. But a report from China states Xianjiang Flying Tigers are ready to make a huge offer to Wade.
“Right now, I’m focused on the game after basketball. Whatever happens in basketball, it happens,” Wade shared from china “I’ve done everything that I can to this point to put myself that I’m in this position I am today, where I can do something that hasn’t been done globally yet. The basketball will take care of itself. I’ll sit down and figure that out once I get back from this tour at some point.”
If he is focusing on globally, being the best player to lace up his sneakers in China could be it and if the money is right there is definitely a possibility. Wade has also signed a lifetime sneaker deal with Li-Ning that was reportedly worth tens of millions of dollars. Aligning that deal with playing in the country regularly could be of epic proportions.
