Spotify’s content head of global cultures, Rocío Guerrero, is planning to leave the company to venture into other Latin music-related fields, sources tell Billboard.
Guerrero spearheaded many of Spotify’s Latin initiatives, including the launch of its popular ¡Viva Latino! and Baila Reggaeton playlists, which today are among Spotify’s five most listened to playlists worldwide. Most recently, she launched the streaming service's Global Cultures initiative.
No information was available on when exactly Guerrero will leave the company or what her next steps will be.
