Ariana Grande Shares Heartfelt Note to Her Republic Records Team: Thank You for Making Me Feel Supported

Ariana Grande praised her label team for its support on Friday (Dec. 7), after receiving the woman of the year award at Billboard's 2018 Women in Music event the night before.

Grande shared a red carpet photo with Republic Records CEO Monte Lipmanfrom the event, addressing her note to him and the rest of the label. "I know it ain’t always easy being in business w a tiny, italian, hard ball playing, pixie like me," she wrote. "i want to thank you for making me feel supported, for trusting my vision and always doing what's right."

She continued to thank Lipman for his "loyalty and belief" in her since 2010 when they met. She signed with the label in 2011, when she was 18.

"thank you for not taking advantage of my excitement about my art and always taking care of me," she wrote. "your actions have proven time & time again how fortunate i am not only to be working with the best there is, but with a team that truly cares about the big picture. i look forward to so much more music and many more memories."

She added: "i am so grateful and excited to share this new project with everyone asap."
