On Friday (Oct. 25), Latin trap star Bad Bunny made a special stop at Harvard University -- not to attend a class and learn, but to give music students career advice.
Bad Bunny's visit was part of a monthly series called Uncut by No Label. The event was directed by Professor Petra Rivera-Rideau, who studies the political history of reggaeton in Puerto Rico, and wrote the book Remixing Reggaeton: The Cultural Politics of Race in Puerto Rico.
At the Harvard session, Bad Bunny discussed how he creates space for activism and protest within his music and performances. He also spoke about what he brings to his musical genre, as well as his gender-flexible art and his vision to create artistic and socially inclusive spaces.
No Label is a creative agency which fosters non-traditional spaces for artists like Travis Scott, JID and Cousin Stizz to share their ideas.
