Karol G Reveals New Album Title, Release Date and Cover Art

Karol G fans, rejoice: her upcoming studio album is coming sooner than expected.

On Tuesday night (March 16), the Colombian star shared a 37-second clip, in which she revealed that her next studio set will be called KG0516, and that it will drop at 8:00 p.m. ET on Thursday, March 25.

In a retro-inspired video teaser, she’s portraying different personalities in an airplane.

Karol is first seen as a flight attendant. “Welcome to flight KG0516 with destination to wherever the f--k you want,” she says. In the comments on social media, fans were quick to notice that Kali Uchis did the voiceover for Karol’s video.

Throughout the video, she’s also seen a passenger drinking a strawberry shake, and the pilot and co-pilot navigating the plane to outer space.

On Wednesday (March 17), she shared the album's official cover, calling it the "cover of my dreams." The image, at the helm of David LaChapelle, shows Karol wearing a two-toned blazer, male model Quinten Barnard laying naked on a couch, and about six airplanes in the background.

Karol is currently making the rounds with her Anuel AA and J Balvin-assisted country-tinged urban bop "Location," which debuted at No. 6 on the Hot Latin Songs chart dated Feb. 27.

KG0516 marks Karol's third studio album following Unstoppable and Ocean.  Check out her album announcement below.
