Mempho Music Festival, one of the premiere Southeast music festivals for Americana, rock and blues music, is returning in 2021 with two nights of Widespread Panic and a headlining performance by The Avett Brothers. The event is produced by a group of local investors operating as Forward Momentum LLC.
The Oct. 1-3, 2021 festival will take place at its new home at the Radians Amphitheater at Memphis Botanic Garden with a lineup that also includes Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, Black Pumas, Lucinda Williams and many more.
The Tennessee festival launched in 2017 as a way to bring the state's storied music scene to the Volunteer State's second largest market with a mix of nationally acclaimed artists and regional favorites. Early Bird and Tier 1 advance price tickets for Mempho Fest 2021 were announced in February and sold out. Tier 2 three-day General Admission tickets are currently on sale and can be purchased for $185.
Forward Momentum is made up of a group of local investors led by Kevin McEniry, chief executive of Memphis-based nexAir, LLC. The other two investors are Jay Keegan, president and chief executive of Adams Keegan and Duncan Williams, president of Duncan-Williams, Inc.
