HOUSTON - Rappers, take notice. A new artist is hustling hard and making his name known in the industry for explicit energy and lyrics.
As an upbeat rapper that creates a vibe through versatility, E Bangga has released his debut EP, “The Wait is Over.” A variety of tracks featuring the newcomer’s hip hop, rap, and pop styles.
E Bangga’s “The Wait is Over” is a nine-track EP representing his life compiled into different songs. “This whole EP enables freedom, and that’s the whole point of saying, ‘The Wait is Over,’” said E Bangga. “When people realize that their wait is over, they will be better off. I am speaking for others, and I hope they are paying attention. It’s a new beginning. People can take on their new way. There’s no reason not to strive for what we want to be.”
As an up-and-coming artist, E Bangga admitted that he only wrote three tracks when writing the songs for his EP. The rest were created as E Bangga grabbed the mic and started freestyling. “Once again, it all comes back to why it’s perfect, ‘cuz it’s easy to speak what’s already in your head. I spend more time freestyling in my head, so it’s already there when I record,” explained E Bangga.
Although he is new to the scene, E Bangga shows signs of greatness to come. Listening to the EP, authenticity drips from word. E Bangga’s realistic music rises to the top from his wordplay to melodies to tone. For example, the track “Dream Rider” represents E Bangga having fun but laying down a positive underlying message. The song expresses life’s journey and who accompanies individuals on the trip. “We all envision somebody by your side. Whoever it is in your life, that’s your dream rider - the people you want to be with you,” explained E Bangga.
Through his trials and errors, E Bangga stands as the voice for his culture and generation. Even though this Texas native got out of the inner city and hustler lifestyle, E Bangga said, “This is my lifestyle, but it’s for everyone. I do what I do for my people. I want to give enough awareness to the situation, and everybody can take something from it. I think of me and us. I speak for a universal message.”
“My music is another way to never leave the culture. I love my people. The people who support me are everything. It’s a way of life for everything to me, and it’s nothing without everybody,” he said. “When you listen in, you’ll keep listenin because you will know that there is nuthin like it. In this day and age, we need truth. You’ve come to the right place for it. I’m your truth. It’s all here.”
