Canadian R&B/soul singer-songwriter Daniel Caesar, 22, scores his first entry on the Billboard Hot 100 chart (dated March 3), as "Get You," featuring Kali Uchis, debuts at No. 93. Colombia-born Uchis, 24, also makes her first trip to the tally.
As previously reported, Drake's "God's Plan" leads the Hot 100 for a fifth week, drawing an astounding 101.7 million streams in the tracking week, according to Nielsen Music, following the Feb. 16 arrival of its official video.
"Get You" previously earned Caesar and Uchis a nomination for best R&B performance at this year's Grammy Awards and topped Billboard's Adult R&B Songs airplay chart dated Feb. 3. It currently ranks at No. 2 on Adult R&B Songs and No. 8 on the Hot R&B Songs chart, after reaching No. 5. (The Hot 100 and Hot R&B Songs charts blend streaming, radio airplay and sales data.)
The track continues to increase in both airplay, gaining 11 percent to 19 million radio audience impressions in the tracking week, and streaming, as it rises by 3 percent to 4.6 million U.S. streams.
Caesar's debut studio album Freudian, featuring the song, debuted and peaked at No. 16 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart and No. 25 on the Billboard 200 in September. Caesar (born Ashton Simmonds) has earned one other lead entry on a Billboard chart, also from the set: "Best Part," featuring H.E.R., reached No. 15 on the Hot R&B Songs chart (Feb. 10) and currently stands at No. 18.
Uchis likewise earns her first entry on the Hot 100 thanks to "Get You." She has made multiple appearances as a featured artist on other Billboard charts: Gorillaz's "She's My Collar" hit No. 36 on Hot Rock Songs in May 2017; Juanes' "El Ratico" peaked at No. 45 on Hot Latin Songs in August; and Tyler, The Creator's "See You Again" reached No. 40 on Rhythmic Songs in October.
