Linkin Park Cancels Tour After Death of Chester Bennington

Linkin Park has canceled its upcoming tour, Live Nation has confirmed. The news comes just a day after the passing of Chester Bennington, the band's vocalist, who died by hanging.

"We are incredibly saddened to hear about the passing of Chester Bennington," the tour promoter said in a statement to Billboard, adding that "refunds are available at point of purchase. Our thoughts go out to all those affected."

The One More Light World Tour was set to kick off in Mansfield, Mass., on July 27. The band had plans to tour the U.S. through October before flying over to Japan.

Linkin Park's last concert with Bennington was on July 6 at the Barclaycard Arena in Birmingham, England.
