J Balvin and Willy William fans now can have more fun with Snapchat. The app has released a new global lens featuring their song “Mi Gente,” only available on Tuesday (July 25) and Wednesday (July 26).
Balvin and William released “Mi Gente” back in June with a fantastic video, which features an explosion of colors from people around the world, and that’s exactly what the Snapchat shows in the filter. Whether you use it in selfie mode or with the normal camera shot, the filter breaks the image into multi-colored sections as "Mi Gente" provides the soundtrack.
J Balvin is just as excited as his fans are about the filter, posting two videos using it himself:
This week, “Mi Gente” peaked No. 42 on the Billboard Hot 100 (dated August 5) and No. 2 on Hot Latin Songs.
