Live Nation Appoints Chris Loll COO of Its Media and Sponsorships Division

Live Nation Entertainment has appointed marketing executive Chris Loll to the newly created position of chief operating officer of its media and sponsorships unit. The NYC-based Loll will report to Russel Wallach, Live Nation's global president.

The company said Loll will lead all business operations at the live music giant, "while executing a multi-year strategy that will introduce new data, digital and live products for agencies and advertisers, while refining process, systems and sales solutions to accelerate the division’s overall growth and vision."

Loll was most recently COO of IPG Mediabrands, the portfolio of media agencies under advertising conglomerate Interpublic. He departed in August after three years. Prior to IPG, Loll held executive roles at Wunderman,VML and Young & Rubicam. He's a graduate of the Air Force Academy and UCLA.

"Chris has a proven track record reinvigorating corporate productivity and taking media and advertising businesses to new heights," said Russell Wallach in a statement. "We welcome his unrivaled talents to our division at time when we are experiencing record growth and I look forward to working closely with Chris to ensure we maintain that momentum and expand our global footprint."

In a statement, Loll called Live Nation a "marketers playground" with "unmatched live and digital experiences."
