Grammy-winning trap star Zaytoven released his debut album, Atlanta Boys, earlier this summer and today he announced being signed to legendary label Motown Records. The label plans to release new music by Zaytoven soon in partnership with his own label Familiar Territory Records.
“Zaytoven’s prowess as a producer, songwriter and musician continues to have such influence and impact on music and popular culture, and his signing to Motown through his Familiar Territory Records will enable us all to experience his significant talents as a recording artist,” said Chairman and CEO of Capital Music Group Steve Barnett in a statement. “I couldn’t be happier that Zaytoven is now a member of the CMG family.”

We are thrilled to be his partners in this exciting new phase of his career,” added Motown Records senior vice president Ezekiel Lewis. “We look forward to helping Zay and Familiar Territory release some of the best collaboration albums in existence and become a magnet for amazing new talent.”
The multi-instrumentalist beatmaker joins collaborators Migos, Erykah Badu and more influential artists at Motown.
