Christian Nodal scores his second No. 1 hit on the Regional Mexican Songsairplay chart (dated Sept. 30), as “Probablemente,” featuring David Bisbal, climbs 2-1 in its 13th week on the ranking.
The single jumps 9 percent to 10 million audience impressions in the week ending Sept. 17, according to Nielsen Music. “Probablemente” succeeds Ulices Chaidez y Sus Plebes’ “Porque No Te Enamoras,” which ruled the chart for four weeks and falls 16 percent to 8 million impressions.
Nodal previously topped the Regional Mexican Songs chart with his debut single, “Adios Amor.” The song spent seven total weeks at No. 1, beginning on the chart dated April 8.
"Probablemente" is the first No. 1 for Bisbal, who made two previous visits to the chart, with “24 Horas” and “Quien Me Iba A Decir,” in 2010 and 2006, respectively.
Concurrently, “Probablemente” rises to a new No. 3 peak on the overall Latin Airplay chart and dips 17-18 on the Hot Latin Songs chart (which blends airplay with streams and sales).
Yandel’s #Update Arrives at No. 2 on Top Latin Albums: Meanwhile, Yandel earns his fourth top five album as a solo act on the Top Latin Albums chart, as his latest effort, #Update, arrives at No. 2 with 6,000 equivalent album units earned in the week ending Sept. 14, according to Nielsen Music.
Of that sum, 2,000 were in traditional sales, helping the artist also debut at No. 1 on the Latin Album Sales chart.
Yandel has two No. 1 albums as a solo act under his belt, Dangerous in 2015 and De Lider A Leyenda in 2013, and five No. 1s as one-half of Wisin & Yandel.
More on Yandel: the third single from #Update, “Como Antes,” featuring Wisin, debuts at No. 2 on the Latin Airplay chart and No. 13 on the Hot Latin Songs chart. The set’s second single, “Explicale,” featuring Bad Bunny, hits a new peak on the Hot Latin Songs chart at No. 29.
Prince Royce Hits Top 10 on Tropical Airplay Chart: Finally, Prince Roycetallies his 21st top 10 hit on the Tropical Songs airplay chart, as “Ganas Locas,” featuring Farruko, jumps 12-10 in its seventh charting frame.
The song is also the 12th top 10 hit for Farruko. The all-time leader, Victor Manuelle, holds 52 top 10 hits on the chart.
"Ganas Locas" leaps 10 percent to 1.5 million audience impressions, according to Nielsen Music.
