eOne Global Music Promotes Michael Olsen to Executive Vice President

Entertainment One (eOne) Global Music has promoted Michael Olsen to executive vice president of music operations, business and legal affairs. Olsen, previously serving as senior vp of business development, will continue to report to eOne president Chris Taylor from his Nashville office.

In a statement, Taylor called Michael "a true leader" who would continue to make partnerships to "expand our footprint and truly up our game."

Olsen has been part of the eOne business unit since 2010, leading the company's Nashville labels and their acquisition of Dualtone Music Group in 2016. The company said Olsen's role now expands his supervision of eOne's business and legal affairs "on a global basis." Prior to joining, Olsen had worked at a number of indie labels and served as the vice president of the Denver Symphony Orchestra

"This is an exciting time for eOne’s music business and I’m thrilled to be more deeply involved in all of the great developments," said Olsen in a statement. "Chris and the entire team are doing some incredible things in the industry and bringing more and more standout artists into the eOne family. And this is just the beginning."
