Café Tacuba, Kinky, Molotov, Zoé and more Mexican rock bands have created a support network on Twitter in the wake of Tuesday’s deadly earthquake, providing a constant flow of information for volunteers and calling for supplies and donations, as well as posting photos of missing people.
“Come on Mexico! Let’s keep sharing information and helping as much as each of us can!” the Molotov Tweeted to its followers. Throughout the day band members have retweeted a constant flow of information about locations in need of volunteers, as well as what supplies to donate and where.
Café Tacvba, Panteon Rococo, Zoé and Kinky are among other artists who have turned their social media accounts into community message boards.

Those who want to help from outside of Mexico can also check the bands’ Twitter accounts for information about how to donate money online to assist in the aftermath of the tragic event.
The Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto has declared an official three-day mourning period for victims of the earthquake. So far, 223 fatalies have been confirmed.
