As previously reported, Cardi B becomes the first female rapper to top the Billboard Hot 100 chart without the assistance of any other credited artists in nearly 19 years, as her debut hit "Bodak Yellow (Money Moves)" rises from No. 2 to No. 1 on the latest chart (dated Oct. 7).
Plus, Post Malone's "Rockstar," featuring 21 Savage, roars in at No. 2 on the Hot 100, and at No. 1 on the Streaming Songs and Digital Song Sales charts; Portugal. The Man earns its first Hot 100 top 10, as "Feel It Still" pushes 14-10; and K-pop kings BTS make their Hot 100 debut at No. 85 with "DNA."

"Slow Hands" & "Too Much to Ask," Niall Horan
"Hands" holds at its No. 11 high on the Hot 100 and crowns the Pop Songs airplay chart (making One Direction just the second group to generate two members that have led the lists as soloists). Meanwhile, "Ask" arrives at No. 66 on the Hot 100, powered by its No. 8 start on Digital Song Sales (37,000 downloads sold, according to Nielsen Music). "Ask," which goes to radio Oct. 10, and "Hands" are from Horan's debut solo album, Flicker, due Oct. 20.
"Mi Gente," J Balvin & Willy William
The track keeps at its No. 19 Hot 100 peak, while rising 15-14 on Streaming Songs (20.2 million U.S. streams, up 1 percent). It looks certain to surge (likely on charts dated Oct. 21, to post on Billboard.com Oct. 10) following the release last night (Sept. 28) of its new remix featuring Beyonce.
"…Ready for It?," Taylor Swift
After debuting at No. 4 on the Hot 100 two weeks ago, the song tumbled to No. 21 last week and, now, to No. 34 this week, as it has experienced second and third-week declines in sales and streams not atypical for a high-profile song not fully being promoted as an official radio single. Still, Swift's 22nd Hot 100 top 10 is being welcomed by radio, a rarity for a non-focus track. It jumps 26-21 on the Pop Songs airplay chart, up 35 percent in plays in the week ending Sept. 24.
Meanwhile, "Look What You Made Me Do," the first official single from Reputation(due Nov. 10), rises 6-5 on Pop Songs (up 8 percent), becoming Swift's 11th top five hit on the tally; of the first 10, seven hit No. 1 and the other three all reached No. 2.
"Perfect," Ed Sheeran
The third proper single from Sheeran's album ÷ re-enters the Hot 100 at No. 89 as it rises at radio, jumping 24-19 in its third week on Adult Pop Songs. Its official lyric video premiered Sept. 22.
"Homemade Dynamite," Lorde feat. Khalid, Post Malone & SZA
Following the release of its remix featuring Khalid, Post Malone and SZA, the song (originally from Lorde's album Melodrama) enters the Hot 100 at No. 92. "Dynamite" blasts by 697 percent to 5.9 million U.S. streams and by 276 percent to 10,000 sold.
