Kygos Kids In Love Debuts at No. 1 on Top Dance/Electronic Albums Chart

Kygo commands his second No. 1 on Billboard's Top Dance/Electronic Albumschart, as Kids in Love launches atop the list (dated Nov. 25).

The set starts with 9,000 equivalent album units, according to Nielsen Music. With 3,000 from traditional album sales, Kids also debuts atop the Dance/Electronic Album Sales chart. Kygo's second No. 1 on Top Dance/Electronic Albums follows his recently-released EP Stargazing (No. 3, Oct. 28) and his first No. 1, Cloud 9, in June 2016.

Concurrently, with five debuts this week, all eight tracks from Kids have hit Hot Dance/Electronic Songs, bringing Kygo's total number of charted titles to 25. Since the chart's January 2013 inception, only four acts have more: Calvin Harris(30), Avicii (28), David Guetta and Skrillex (26 each).

Kygo's fresh five: "Stranger Things" (featuring OneRepublic; No. 16); "Riding Shotgun" (with Oliver Nelson and featuring Bonnie McKee; No. 27); "I See You" (featuring Billy Raffoul; No. 44); "With You" (featuring Wrabel; No. 47); and "Permanent" (featuring JHart; No. 49).

The Kids in Love title track, featuring The Night Game, slips 20-22 after starting at No. 10 two weeks ago; "Never Let You Go," featuring John Newman, ranks at No. 31 after its No. 19 debut last week; and "Sunrise," featuring Jason Walker, shines, pushing 46-33 in its second frame.

NOT LOUD, BUT PROUD: Marshmello cruises to his first No. 1 on Dance Club Songs with "Silence" (2-1). Also the first leader for featured artist Khalid, the song was remixed for clubs by Tiesto, DJ Damian and Sumr Camp, among others.

"Silence" continues at No. 1 on Dance/Electronic Streaming Songs for an 11th total week on top, earning 13.8 million U.S. streams in the tracking period. The song rises 3-2 on both Dance/Mix Show Airplay and Hot Dance/Electronic Songs(returning to its peak) and holds at No. 2 on Dance/Electronic Digital Song Saleswith 8,000 downloads sold, up 5 percent (after leading the Nov. 4 list).

'HOME' IN THE TOP FIVE: Sultan + Shepard shine on Dance/Mix Show Airplay as "Almost Home," featuring Nadia Ali and IRO, bounds 17-5. It's the fourth top 10 for the DJ duo, whose "In the Air" (credited to Morgan Page, Sultan + Ned Shepard and BT featuring Angela McCluskey) topped the list six years ago this month. "Almost" is the third top 10 for Ali and first for IRO.

Continuing with Dance/Mix Show Airplay, Tiesto tallies his 10th top 10 with "Carry You Home" (14-7). It's the first top 10 each for featured acts Stargate and Aloe Blacc. As producers, Stargate topped the chart with eight titles in 2006-14 (with tracks by RihannaNe-YoKaty Perry and Iggy Azalea) and Blacc's uncredited vocals on Avicii's "Wake Me Up!" helped the song spend 10 weeks at No. 1 in 2013.

Further on Dance/Mix Show Airplay, Halsey earns her third top 10 with "Bad at Love" (11-9). In July, Halsey hit the region for the first time as a lead act with "Now or Never" (No. 5), after breaking through as the featured vocalist on The Chainsmokers' "Closer," which logged a record 20 weeks at No. 1 in 2016-17. "Bad," remixed by Dillon FrancisHook N Sling and Autograf, among others, also jumps 10-5 on Dance Club Songs.
