Zedd Reaches Out to Bullied Student Keaton Jones With All Expenses Paid Trip to a Show

Zedd, like many millions of others, has been touched by Keaton Jones’ heartbreaking tale of being targeted by bullies. So he’s stepped up with a proposal to put a smile on the youngster’s face: an all expenses paid trip to a Zedd gig.

“Hey Keaton Jones, I’d like to invite you to be my guest at any show of mine of your choice. I’ll cover ur flights and accommodation. Big up for speaking up, buddy!!!,” Zedd tweeted.

The EDM superstar reached out after Jones launched an emotion plea to his tormentors in a video that has gone viral. "Just out of curiosity, why do they bully?" asks Jones, a student from Maynardville, Tenn. "What's the point of it? Why do you find joy in taking innocent people and finding a way to be mean to them? It's not okay."

Trying to hold back tears, he goes on to say that the bullies "make fun of my nose, they call me ugly, they say I have no friends" and pour milk and food down his clothes.

Jones’ mother Kimberly shared the harrowing clip Saturday on Facebook. By Sunday evening, the video has clocked up more than 21 million views and shared over 416,000 times. Supportive messages have flowed in from such artists as Katy Perry to Cardi BSnoop DoggEnrique Iglesias and now Zedd.
