Tony Dunaif Joins ASCAP as Head of International Affairs

Previously, Dunaif was senior vp of digital products at iN Demand.

Tony Dunaif is joining ASCAP as the performance rights organization's executive vice president and head of international affairs.

Dunaif previously worked as the Senior Vice President, Digital products at iN Demand, as well as for a variety of digital start ups including HealthiNation as their Senior Vice President of Syndication and Strategic Partnerships, and prior to that served as the Chief Marketing Officer at Inform Technologies.

Now, Dunaif will lend his knowledge in global business development to ASCAP where he will oversee the organization’s relations overseas. The new position sees Dunaif leading ASCAP’s international team and working with performing rights societies and with CISAC, the International Confederation of Societies of Authors and Composers.

"I am excited to be part of ASCAP’s mission to protect and serve music creators and rights-holders around the world at a time when ASCAP is focused on building a thriving future for its members in an increasingly global and digital economy," Dunaif said in a statement. "ASCAP’s vast repertory of music reaches everywhere and I look forward to finding new ways of supporting the work of music creators by expanding ASCAP’s global strategic partnerships."

Dunaif’s hire follows a number of recent executive changes to ASCAP’s international team including the organization's engagement with CML Consultancy, led by Miew Lan Chan, and the recent promotion of Elizabeth Rodda.
