The ballad, produced and co-written by Ryan Lewis, first appeared on the Trending 140 around 10 a.m. ET Thursday morning after its release and topped the chart soon after.
The song's music video has launched to 1 million global views on YouTube since its release (as of Thursday afternoon).
"Praying" is the lead single from Kesha's third studio album, Rainbow, due Aug. 11.
