Doja Cat delivers stunning performances of Gorgeous and Aaahh Men! from Vie on SNL

Doja Cat made her debut as a musical guest on the season 51 premiere of Saturday Night Live on October 4.

Joining host Bad Bunny, the 29-year-old pop star performed two songs from her newly released fifth studio album, Vie, which recently entered the Billboard 200 at No. 4.

After being introduced by Bad Bunny, Doja kicked off her appearance with a powerful performance of “Aaahh Men!”, a track produced by Jack Antonoff. With her bright yellow curls and a striking outfit—a navy bodysuit layered with a red-and-black lace bra and leopard-print stockings—she commanded the stage. The performance was set against a vivid 1980s-inspired neon backdrop, complete with a black-and-white checkered floor that added to the visual flair.

Later in the show, Doja Cat returned for a slower, more intimate take on “Gorgeous.” Sitting on a glittering rose-shaped throne, she wore a flowing red floral dress and a long wig, performing the emotional track with the support of a live band. As she sang, rose petals drifted down from above, creating a cinematic moment that perfectly matched the song’s mood.

Vie, Doja’s 15-track album released on September 26, features a guest appearance from SZA, her collaborator on “Kiss Me More.” The project also includes the lead single “Jealous Type,” which she performed with Kenny G at the 2025 VMAs. Describing Vie as her most pop-driven work yet, Doja explained that it explores themes of love, passion, and desire, offering a contrast to her 2023 rap-forward album Scarlet.

Following the release of Vie, Doja Cat is set to launch her Ma Vie World Tour later this year.

As for SNL, the upcoming lineup features Amy Poehler as host on October 11 with Role Model as the musical guest, followed by Sabrina Carpenter, who will take on double duty as both host and performer on October 18.
